These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of translation and language services by Faran and Co. LTD.

Scope of Services

We provide professional translation, legal translation, certified translation, and related language services. We do not provide legal advice, financial advice, or regulatory advice.

Translations are provided strictly as linguistic services based on the source materials supplied by the client.

Quotations and Engagement

Any quotation is indicative until confirmed in writing. An engagement is formed only once confirmed by us in writing, including scope, price, delivery timeline, and certification requirements if applicable.

We reserve the right to decline any assignment.

Client Responsibilities

The client confirms that all materials supplied are accurate, complete, and lawful to translate. The client is responsible for verifying that translated materials meet the requirements of the receiving authority.

The client remains responsible for the legal, regulatory, and commercial use of all translated materials.

Accuracy and Limitations

Translations are prepared by qualified human linguists and reviewed before delivery. Translation involves interpretation between languages and legal systems. Absolute equivalence is not possible.

We do not guarantee acceptance of translations by courts, regulators, banks, or third parties unless expressly agreed in writing.

Certified and Notarised Translations

Where certification or notarisation is requested, this will be confirmed in writing. Certification confirms linguistic accuracy only. Notarisation confirms the identity or declaration of the translator, not the legal validity of the document.

Delivery and Revisions

Delivery timelines are agreed in advance. Reasonable revisions relating to translation accuracy are included if requested promptly after delivery. Revisions arising from changes to source materials or additional instructions may incur additional charges.

Fees and Payment

Fees are payable as agreed in writing. Invoices are payable within the stated payment term. Late payment may result in suspension of services. All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

Confidentiality

We treat all client materials as confidential. We will not disclose documents or information to third parties except where required to deliver the service or by law.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client receives the right to use the translated materials for their intended purpose. We retain all rights to working files, methodologies, and internal processes.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or consequential damage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in writing. Fees remain payable for work completed up to termination.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
